Masteyra Island (English; Bulgarian остров Мастейра ostrow Mastejra ) is an east-west facing 700 m long and 200 m wide island in Perrier Bay on the northwest coast of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is 7.55 km northeast of Giard Point and 6.58 km south of Quinton Point . A 1.13 km wide passage separates it from the banks of Perrier Bay to the east-southeast .

British scientists mapped it in 1980. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it on 2013 after the Thracian settlement and fortress of Mastejra in southern Bulgaria .
