Bodo Henke

Bodo Henke (* 1937 in Trebitsch ) is a German painter and sculptor and former teacher .

Live and act

Bodo Henke was born in 1937 in Neumark in the town of Trebitsch. After the Second World War he moved to Brandenburg an der Havel in 1945 . In 1955 he passed his Abitur and then studied German and art education at the Pedagogical Institute in Erfurt . Three years later, in 1958, he passed his state examination and became a teacher. From 1961 to 1991 he worked at the Polytechnic Oberschule Maurice Thorez and from 1991 to 2001 at the Neustadt grammar school and from Saldern grammar school in Brandenburg an der Havel as an art teacher. He was also a lecturer at the Wredow drawing school from 1990 to 1995 . In 2001 he retired .
