Mastines de Naucalpan
Mastines de Naucalpan is the former name of today under the name of Naucalpan Halcones FC in the fourth-rate Tercera División playing football team from Naucalpan de Juárez , one in the state of México suburb of Mexico City . It was founded in 1967.
Halcones FC is a branch team of the third division club ECA Norte based in the state of Morelos .
history
The Mastines ( Spanish for bulldogs ) were a founding member of the Tercera División introduced in 1967, which initially had the status of a third division. At the end of the second season 1968/69 the Mastines succeeded in the championship and the associated promotion to the Segunda División, which was second class at the time . In this, the Mastines were represented in the seasons between 1969/70 and 1976/77 for a period of eight years. After they sold their second division license to Club Morelos in the summer of 1977, they never played second class again .
Known players
The club's most famous player was the three-time World Cup participant and multiple Mexican champion Isidoro Díaz , who played for Naucalpan in the 1971/72 season.
