Matīši (German St. Matthiae ) is a village and seat of a municipality in the Burtnieki district in northern Latvia . In 2015, 486 people lived here. The streets A 15 and A 16 cross in the village.

Historical views 1792

The oldest surviving mention is about the building of the Church of St. Matthiae in 1678. In 1925 the settlement was classified as a locality. In 1937 there were 66 houses.
