Mate Uzinić (born September 17, 1967 in Dubrava ) is a Croatian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Dubrovnik .

Life

Mate Uzinić was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska on June 27, 1993 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Dubrovnik on January 24, 2011. The episcopal consecration donated the Archbishop of Split-Makarska, Marin Barišic , on March 19 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Cardinal Josip Bozanić , Archbishop of Zagreb , and Želimir Puljić , Archbishop of Zadar .
