Matej Ninoslav

Matej Ninoslav (* in Bosnia ; † 1250 ) was the Banus of Bosnia from 1232 to 1250. He was also Prince of Split during the civil war there from 1242 to 1244. After the withdrawal of the Hungarians, Ninoslav took over most of the power over Bosnia, he also defended the local population, most of whom were supporters of the Bosnian Church , during the crusade against Bosnia . His successor was his cousin, Prijezda I. Kotromanić .
