Mateusz Zachara (born March 27, 1990 in Czestochowa , Poland ) is a Polish football player .

Career

In the club

Zachara began playing football in his hometown near Raków Częstochowa , where he was able to work his way up to the senior team. At the beginning of 2011 he switched to Górnik Zabrze . From 2011 to 2012 he was loaned to GKS Katowice . He played for Zabrze until January 2015 before moving to Henan Jianye in the People's Republic of China . On February 26, 2016, his contract was terminated and Zachara has been without a club since then. For the 2016/17 season he was signed by Wisła Krakow . A year later he moved to CD Tondela in Portugal . In Portugal Mateusz Zachara could not prevail and only played 4 league games. In mid-November 2017, his contract was terminated by mutual agreement. At the end of 2017 he returned to his home club in Poland in the 2nd division .

In the national team

He played his first international match for Poland on January 18, 2014 in a friendly against Norway .
