Mathias Erang (* 1. May 1902 in Malstatt-Burbach , German Empire ; † 20th December 1978 in Esch-sur-Alzette ) was a Luxembourgian gymnast .

biography

Mathias Erang started at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 1924 , in Amsterdam in 1928 and in Berlin in 1936 . He took part in all gymnastics competitions. His best individual result came in 35th place in 1924 in the competition on the rings . With the Luxembourg delegation in 1924 , he finished 8th in the team all-round competition.

His son Hubert Erang also became a gymnast and took part in the Summer Olympics in Helsinki in 1952 and in Rome in 1960 .
