Mathieu Perget (born September 18, 1984 ) is a French cyclist .

Mathieu Perget won the bronze medal in the junior road race behind Oleksandr Kwatschuk and Niels Scheuneman at the 2001 road cycling world championships in Lisbon, Portugal . Another success this year was the red jersey for the best young driver at the Trofeo Karlsberg .

In the adult category he won in 2005, he won the road race of the Mediterranean Games over 141 kilometers in Almería, Spain . From the 2006 season he received a contract with the Spanish ProTeam Caisse d'Epargne-Illes Balears . For this team he won the overall ranking of the Tour du Limousin in 2009 . In 2011 and 2012 he drove for Ag2r . He contested six Grand Tours with these two teams between 2007 and 2012 , all of which he was able to complete.

After that, Perget was only active for smaller teams. In 2013 he won the overall ranking of the Tour du Maroc .
