Fonte Arcada is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Fonte Arcada is part of Penafiel County in the Porto District . The community had an area of 4.9 km² and 1616 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Fonte Arcada and Oliveira were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Fonte Arcada e Oliveira . Fonte Arcada is the seat of this newly formed municipality.
