Mathurin Méheut
Mathurin Méheut (born May 21, 1882 in Lamballe , Département Côtes-d'Armor , † February 22, 1958 in Paris ) was a French graphic artist , painter , sculptor , potter , illustrator and designer .
Méheut liked to observe the everyday life of fishermen, farmers and artisans. This can be seen on numerous sketches and pictures.
In 1921 Mathurin Méheut was appointed Peintre Officiel de la Marine .
