Matsu Higa
Matsu Higa ( bl. Around 1700) lived in Hamahiga , Kingdom of Ryūkyū (today part of Uruma , Okinawa Prefecture ). He was one of the first and most formative martial arts experts in karate and kobudo .
Matsu Higa was the teacher of Takahara Peichin , who then taught Sakugawa Kanga , the teacher of Matsumura Sōkon .
