Matteo Agnesod (born March 14, 1994 ) is an Italian natural toboggan runner . He comes from the Aosta Valley and took part in a World Cup race for the first time in the 2011/2012 season .

Career

Agnesod took part in individual single-seater races in the Intercontinental Cup from winter 2008/2009. More regular starts in the European Cup, the successor to the Intercontinental Cup, followed from the 2011/2012 season. Since this winter he has not only started in the single-seater, but also in the two-seater together with his club colleague Ylenia Sarteur . But so far there have been no major successes in the European Cup. The duo Agnesod / Sarteur also took part in the Junior World Championship 2012 in Latsch , where they finished sixth among seven pairs of doubles. At the end of winter, they also started a two-seater World Cup race for the first time . At the finals of the 2011/2012 season in Umhausen , they finished tenth and last. In the single seater, Agnesod has not yet participated in any World Cup races.
