Matteo Markus Bok (born May 16, 2003 in Milan ) is a German-Italian pop singer .

In addition to German and Italian, he is fluent in English and Spanish. At the age of nine he appeared in The Lion King as Simba . In 2016 he took part in the 4th season of the SAT.1 casting show The Voice Kids . He reached the final, but was not nominated by Lena Meyer-Landrut for the audience voting.

Life

Matteo lives in Milan and attended the Collegio San Carlo until summer 2017, which he successfully completed. He then moved to the American School of Milan. Bok plays guitar and piano.

After The Voice Kids he continued his musical engagement and published the Italian-language title E 'diventata primavera . Then he performed at various folk festivals, e.g. B. in Tann (Rhön) , Vöhringen, and Gelsenkirchen. This was followed by an appearance in the ZDF donation gala Ein Herz für Kinder on December 3, 2016 and participation in Italia's Got Talent on Italian television in spring 2017.

In 2017 the German producer Oliver deVille signed him. In 2017, Bok released his first single Just One Lie , for which he toured Germany for a week. With this song he appeared in the ZDF television garden . In 2017 more singles and a music video were released.

At the beginning of 2018, Matteo Markus Bok appeared in the opening act for Soy Luna in Italy. Matteo was the support act on Soy Luna’s Germany tour.

In 2018 he presented his new single El Ritmo (AHI AHI AHI) . The title, which he wrote himself, contains both English and Spanish text passages. The music video for it was produced in Italy. Bok was active in 2019 on the RTL program Big Bounce - The Trampoline Show Das Promi Special.

In April 2019, SAT.1 published several episodes of The Voice Kids - Fast Forward on the Internet . It shows the careers of several participants who started a successful career after taking part in The Voice Kids .

The first album Cruisin was released in 2019 .

On August 3, 2019, Matteo was awarded the TubeAward 2019 in the "International" category at the TubeFestival . On September 24, 2019 Matteo Markus Bok's first book was published under the title "Promise" (in Italian) in which he writes about his emotions and dreams.
