Matthäus Ackermann
Matthäus Ackermann (* 1544 in Weida ; † July 2, 1606 in Neustadt an der Orla ) was an Electoral Saxon civil servant. For almost 30 years from 1571, he was the castle of the Arnshaugk office . Before that he worked as a town clerk in Weida.
He had six daughters and three sons.
The funeral sermon given by Michael Neander on the occasion of his funeral appeared in print in Altenburg .
