Matthias Arnold (born March 2, 1997 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Arnold started his career in his hometown with the Klagenfurt AC . In 2007 he moved to SK Austria Kärnten . After its bankruptcy, he played for SK Austria Klagenfurt before moving to AKA Kärnten in 2011. In May 2014 he played a game in the regional league for SK Austria Klagenfurt. Then he played in the AKA Wolfsberg . In October 2014 he played a game for the second team of Wolfsberger AC for the first time. In the summer of 2015 he returned to SK Austria Klagenfurt, which had meanwhile been promoted to the second division . He made his professional debut in May 2016 when he was substituted on in the final phase of the home game against SKN St. Pölten . With Austria he was forced to relegate to the regional league at the end of the season.

In January 2017 he returned to his youth club KAC, with which he celebrated the championship title, but left that same year. After a short break, he has been playing for Royal Persia since July 2018.
