Matthias Drescher

Matthias Drescher (born June 12, 1971 in Halle ) is a German film producer and screenwriter . He is known for films like Guilt Are Always Others , Schmidt's Cat and The Sandman .

Life

Drescher grew up in Halle / Saale. He studied production at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy . As a producer he was, among other things, responsible for the 2006 ProSieben television series “ Everything but Sex ”. His production "It's always the other guilty" was nominated for the Grimme Prize 2014 and won numerous prizes.

In the 1990s he played drums with the punk band NFP and the random orchestra, André Kudernatsch's live band .

Since 2009 he has been managing director of the Ludwigsburg film and television laboratory together with Philipp Knauss .
