Matthias Gülzow

Matthias Gülzow (* 1965 in Kiel ) is a German psychologist and journalist . He is the managing director of the Evangelical Press Association North and the Christian Radio Paradiso .

Career

Gülzow was born in 1964 as the eldest son of the Hamburg church historian Henneke Gülzow . He is a grandson of the pastor of the Marienkirche in Gdańsk Gerhard M. Gülzow .

After high school and military service, Gülzow studied theology and psychology in Kiel , Hamburg and Worcester , MA, USA. He passed his degree in psychology from 1992, in 2015 he received his doctorate at the University of Cologne Dr. phil. After a journalistic traineeship, he has been heading various media companies, mostly church-oriented, since 1995. Since 2010 he has also been Professor of Media Management at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences .

Gülzow is married and has three children.
