Radio Paradiso is a regional private radio program in Berlin , Frankfurt (Oder) and northern Germany . It sees itself as a Christian radio program with local news and contributions.

General

Radio Paradiso is owned by 26 partners from churches, diakonia and other individuals. The general partner is Radio Paradiso Verwaltungs GmbH . A regional studio has been located in Frankfurt (Oder) since 2006. Paradiso has been broadcasting in Berlin since 1997. In 2006 frequencies were added in Frankfurt (Oder) and Guben, and in 2007 another transmitter in Eisenhüttenstadt. Radio Paradiso has been broadcasting on a frequency in Ahrenshoop since September 15, 2015 . In addition, a VHF frequency was added on November 25, 2015 in Rostock . In addition, Radio Paradiso started its analogue terrestrial operation in Schwerin and a station has been active in Stralsund since May 19, 2016 . A regionalized, northern German version of the station is broadcast there from a studio in Schwerin, which also replaces the previous Berlin program that was broadcast on DAB + in Hamburg.

In April 2017, Herder-Verlag took a stake in Radio Paradiso.

Radio Paradiso is via VHF in Berlin ( Scholzplatz on 98.2 MHz), Frankfurt (Oder) (105.9 MHz), Guben (90.40 MHz), Eisenhüttenstadt (95.50 MHz), Ahrenshoop (103.3 MHz ), Schwerin (103.9 MHz), Stralsund (103.6 MHz) and Rostock (89.7 MHz), as well as in the regional cable networks, via DAB block 11C in Hamburg , DAB block 12D in Berlin and Brandenburg , as well as via live stream .
