Johann Schweminski

Johannes Joseph Schweminski (born July 27, 1812 in Lichnau near Konitz , West Prussia Province , Kingdom of Prussia; † June 25, 1878 in Posen , Posen Province, Kingdom of Prussia) was a German teacher and author.

Life

Johannes Schweminski was born on July 27, 1812 in Lichnau as a descendant of the Schulzen families Schwemin, Risop, Rhode and Latzke of the Koschnaewjerdörfer Lichnau, Cekzin, Osterwick and Petztin in the province of West Prussia . He attended high school in Konitz . After graduating from high school, he studied philosophy and literary history at the University of Wroclaw . In 1833 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Breslau . In 1847 he married Florentine Reisiger in Poznan , a daughter of the commission council Reisiger from Poznan. Two children emerged from this marriage: Hedwig Kawerau born. Schweminski and the Berlin painter Jenny Schweminski . Schweminski was a senior teacher and high school professor at the PosenerMariengymnasium .
