Matthias Keller (* 1963 in Wuppertal ) is a German national volleyball player .

Career

In his youth, Keller played for the local TG Rote Erde Schwelm and later for SV Bayer Wuppertal . In 1982 he moved to Bundesliga club TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen . In the same year, the strong defensive all-rounder with the German junior national team in Munich became vice European champion and also had his first appearances in the senior national team . From 1986 to 1992, Keller played for Bundesliga club VdS Berlin , later SCC Berlin .

Keller has been a trainer at USC Braunschweig since the 2000s , where his daughters Anna and Luisa also started playing volleyball.

Professional

Keller studied construction engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and has worked in various senior management positions at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg since 1996 .
