Matthias Rosenbauer

Matthias Rosenbauer (born January 5, 1970 in Neuendettelsau ) is a German jazz drummer .

Live and act

Rosenbauer studied drums at the music academies in Würzburg and Nuremberg. He then worked as a freelance theater musician and performed with Ack van Rooyen , Roger Kleier, Michael Schleinkofer, Rudi Mahall , Frank Möbus and Martin Schrack . He also worked in a duo with Gerhard Gschlößl , which was expanded to form the trio Der Moment with Johannes Fink . He can also be heard on albums with John Q Irritated , with Buddy & The Huddle , with Dieter Köhnlein and with Annie Gosfield. He and friends run the Aunt Betty Bar in Nuremberg, where you can hear live music. Since 1998 he has been a lecturer at the Nuremberg University of Music.
