Matthias Stefke

Matthias Stefke (* 1963 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( BVB / Free Voters ). He has been a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament since 2019 .

In 1980, Stefke joined the Junge Union and the CDU in the Berlin-Kreuzberg district association . In 1994 he became a full-time employee in the CDU regional office in Berlin. From 1996 to 2000 he was district councilor for building, living and sport in Berlin-Kreuzberg. In 2006 he left the CDU. Then he founded the BVBB voter group. In 2008 he was elected with this group to the community council of Blankenfelde-Mahlow and chairman of the parliamentary group there. Stefke succeeded in being re-elected to the municipal council in 2014 and, with BVB / Free Voters, was able to enter the district council in the Teltow-Fläming district . He was re-elected in both local parliaments in 2019.

In the state elections in Brandenburg in 2019 , he reached position 3 on the list of BVB / Free Voters in the state parliament of Brandenburg .

In the constituent group meeting on September 9th, he was elected deputy group chairman.
