Matthias Stich (* 11. October 1963 in Oldenburg (Oldb) ) is a former German marksman in the squad of the German Shooting Federation .

Career

Matthias Stich was trained in his youth by his father Gerhard Stich at the DSC Wanne-Eickel and at the age of 16 took part in German championship honors in the air rifle. Matthias Stich competed in the air rifle discipline at the Olympic Games in 1988 and 1992 . He was ranked 17th in 1988 and 13th four years later. In 1990 he became team world champion in Moscow together with Johann Riederer and Hannes Hirschvogel .
