Matthias Zuder

Matthias Zuder (born February 20, 1985 ) is a German - Austrian film and advertising director.

Life

Growing up in Styria, he first studied law in Graz before dedicating himself entirely to filmmaking. He studied film directing in Vienna and graduated from the Hamburg Media School . With his short films, music videos and commercials he took part in numerous festivals and received several international awards. In 2012, his film Balancing for Foundlings won . In 2013 he was nominated with the short film Erbgut for the student Oscar for the best foreign film ( Honorary Foreign Film Award ) of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles, and won the award for the best young film of the Diagonale , Festival of the Austrian Films. He lives in Hamburg and Vienna.
