Mattox Bastion is a mountain in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . It is one of the peaks of the Inland forts in the Asgard Range and towers over the northeastern part of Flory Cirque .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1976 after Commander Benjamin G. Mattox, head of a delegation of the United States Navy support units at McMurdo Station in the Antarctic winter of 1971.
