The Maurer Schubertpark is an approx. 440 m² large Beserlpark in Mauer . It is located in the Spitz between Rielgasse and Kaserngasse. The park has seating.
history
The bricklayer Schubert Park on November 26, 1927 decision of the Municipal Council created the wall and through the wall after the council on November 18, 1928 Austrian composer Franz Schubert named. On the day it was named, the Mauer community planted a linden tree. A marble plaque commemorates the 100th anniversary of the composer's death.
Attractions
The winter linden tree ( Tilia cordata ) planted in honor of Franz Schubert is protected by the City of Vienna as a natural monument in 813.
Likelihood of confusion
Due to the similar name the possibility of the park by Kalksburger Schubertpark and Inzersdorfer Schubert Park , both of which also are in Liesing, and the in Vienna, Währing located Währinger Schubertpark to be confused.
