Maurice Chevrier

Maurice Chevrier (born March 28, 1961 in Sion , Canton of Valais ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ).

Political offices and functions

Chevrier, a lawyer and notary by profession , was a member of the National Council from the 1999 to 2010 elections . Before that, he sat on the Grand Council of the Canton of Valais for ten years . In September 2009, Chevrier was appointed by the Valais cantonal government as the new head of the Valais Department for Internal and Local Affairs, and on January 1, 2010, he took up this position.

Private

Chevrier is married with two children.
