Maurice Hooker

Maurice Hooker (* 7. August 1989 in Dallas , Texas , USA , as Maurice Dewayne Hooker ) is an American boxer in the Light Welterweight and current undefeated champion of the Association WBO . He is trained by Vince Parra .

Amateur career

In the amateurs, Hooker completed a total of 92 fights, of which he won 85 and lost 7.

Professional career

In late April 2011, Hooker made his professional debut and only achieved a 4-round tie against Tyrone Chatman.

The normal boom competed in June 2018 against the British Terry Flanagan for the vacant WBO World Championship and won by split judges' decision (115: 113, 117: 111, 111: 117).
