Maurice Lurot
Maurice Lurot (born April 13, 1940 in Charleville-Mézières ) is a former French middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .
In 1962 he was eliminated from the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade . At the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo and the 1966 European Championship in Budapest, he reached the semifinals.
From 1963 to 1966 he was French champion four times in a row. He set his personal best of 1: 47.2 minutes on October 1, 1966 in Colombes .
He is married to the former sprinter Michèle Davaze .
