Maurice Rémy

Maurice Rémy (* 1912 ; † 2000 ) was a Swiss psychiatrist .

Career

Rémy received his doctorate in 1942 from the University of Bern with a thesis on Korsakow syndrome . He was a student of William Gray Walter and from 1949 headed the newly established fifth clinical EEG laboratory at the Bern Psychiatric Clinic .

He was a professor at the University of Friborg as well as director of the sanatorium and nursing home of Marsens and president of the Swiss Society for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (SGPP).
