Maurizio De Jorio

Maurizio De Jorio (born September 24, 1967 in Trento , Italy ) is an Italian Eurobeat artist.

Like most Eurobeat artists, De Jorio works under many pseudonyms , including, Niko , Max Coveri , D. Essex , Marko Polo and Kevin Johnsson .

De Jorio first released his songs on vinyl in Japan , later they appeared on CD as part of the Eurobeat sampler Super Eurobeat . His song Night of Fire was chosen on the occasion of the Super Eurobeat 100 as the most popular Eurobeat title to date. Also, many of his songs were used in the Initial D anime series . Another well-known song of his is Running In the 90's , which is also often used in internet memes. Before starting his Eurobeat career, De Jorio was a member of the Italian band Surpreme .
