The Mausoleum Tenge is a Grade II listed secular building in Oerlinghausen in North Rhine-Westphalia Lippe and with the number 45 as a monument in the town monument list entered.
History and architecture
The mausoleum is located near Heidersdorfer Strasse about one kilometer southeast of the Niederbarkhausen estate , the ancestral home of the Tenge family and the former owners Meier zu Barkhausen and the Barkhausen family. It was built in 1863 in the form of a Doric temple . At the beginning of the 20th century, the building was given a lower lobby with large windows and stone caryatids . In the fenced area behind the mausoleum there are numerous graves of the Tenge-Rietberg family, which are decorated with sculptures and steles .
