Mouse sleepers ( Myomimus ) are a genus of mammals in the Bilche family with 3 species.

In contrast to other dormice, which have a bushy tail, the tail of these species is only sparsely hairy, which makes them resemble mice .

Very little is known about the mouse sleeper's way of life. Specimens have been found in habitats as diverse as forests, savannahs , bushland, farmland, and rocky mountains. The diet also varies between animal and vegetable substances.

The types are:

By M. personatus and M. setzeri have been found about 10 copies only one and therefore the types of the are IUCN with insufficient data ( Data Deficient ) listed. The mouse sleeper is also rare, so no individuals have been sighted in the last 5 years. The species is listed as endangered ( Vulnerable ).

Genetic studies indicate that the mouse sleepers represent the sister group of a clade of tree sleepers ( Dryomys ) and garden sleepers ( Eliomys ).
