Max Ernst Scholarship
The Max Ernst Scholarship (spelling Max Ernst Scholarship ) is an art prize that has been awarded annually by the city of Brühl since 1971 . It serves to promote young artists who are still in art training and should not be older than 35 years.
The scholarship is endowed with 10,000 euros and is financed in equal parts by the city of Brühl and the Max Ernst Society. The jury includes artists, art historians, a representative of the residents of the city of Brühl and the mayor of the city of Brühl.
In addition to the prize money, the prize winner will receive a solo exhibition in the LVR's Max Ernst Museum Brühl , which traditionally opens on April 2nd, Max Ernst's birthday .
