The artist Helga Schmidhuber works cyclically. Many of the works are designed as a series of larger groups of works. The artist is concerned with exploring the possibilities of the picturesque. Your work is multimedia oriented; The focus is on painting. In a number of works she superimposes different levels of image and reality with diverse quotations from botany and the animal kingdom, technology and cultural assets. Picturesque, graphic and collaged notes overlap and interlock with template-like segments and arrangements that show deformations and alienations of humans and animals.
