Max Him , also Max-Him or The Max Him , was an Italian Italo-Disco project that became internationally known in 1985 through the song Lady Fantasy .

biography

The producers Florian Fadinger (born May 7, 1960 in Munich ; † January 16, 2013 ibid) and Guido Felicani initiated the Max Him studio project in the early 1980s. The project name is derived from the first name of the singer Massimo Vaccari, who can be heard on the first pieces. Most of the recordings are produced by Ennio Manuel. The first single , Roadhouse Blues , was released in 1983 on Crash and Lion Records, two Cologno Monzese- based sublabels of Il Discotto Productions. The successor No Escape , like all other records of the project until 1987, was released in 1984 on Cruisin 'Records from Modena . Guido Felix joined the project as another lead singer and keyboardist .

Max Him had great success in 1985 with the track Lady Fantasy produced by Romano Trevisani . The single entered the German charts in the summer and reached number 21. In February of the following year, Japanese Girl achieved another chart success in Germany at number 45. A few more singles were released by 1987, but Max Him was unable to build on the previous success.
