Max Brandl (politician, 1938)

Max Brandl (born January 24, 1938 in Ringelai , Lower Bavaria ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Brandl attended the Ringelai elementary school and did an apprenticeship as a baker, which he completed as a journeyman baker. He was then a police enforcement officer in the Federal Border Guard and attended the BGS technical school. He then worked as a Bundesbank official at the regional central bank in Bavaria at the Passau branch.

In 1972 Brandl became a member of the municipal council of Büchlberg , where he was also the second mayor. Also in 1972 a member of the Passau district council , of which he was SPD parliamentary group leader for 18 years. From 1974 to 1999 he was district chairman of the SPD in the Passau district. From 1978 to 1982 he was a member of the Lower Bavaria District Council . From 1982 to 2003 he sat in the Bavarian state parliament , where he belonged to the Bundeswehr working group of the SPD state parliamentary group.
