Max Frérot

Max Frérot (* 1957 ) is a former French terrorist of Action Directe .

Life

He was arrested on November 27, 1987 in Lyon for committing an attack in 1986 on a French special unit against gang crime in Paris, in which a police officer was killed and later sentenced to life imprisonment for various terrorist offenses. On June 12, 2007, after years of trial, Frérot was awarded € 12,000.00 in compensation because he was repeatedly humiliated in custody without necessity. On June 2, 2010 he was released from custody in Nîmes in the south of France .
