Max Holzboer (also Dr. Max Holsboer , * 1889 in Geneva ; † unknown) was a Swiss ice hockey and actor who won several German championship titles with the Berlin ice skating club during his active career in the 1920s .
Career
Max Holzboer began his career at Genève-Servette HC . In 1917 he moved to Berlin, where he was the captain of the Berlin ice skating club and won several German championship titles with it . As a foreigner, he received special permission to take part in the championship games.
In addition to ice hockey, he worked as a tennis trainer and looked after Leni Riefenstahl , among others , who helped him to several roles in films such as Das Blaue Licht and Tiefland in the 1930s .
International
With the Swiss national ice hockey team , he took part in the Summer Olympics in 1920 and finished fifth. Four years later, at the 1924 Winter Olympics , he was again part of the national team, but was not used.
