Max Jungeblodt
Mathias Maximilian Franziskus Jungeblodt (* 1854 ; † 1923 ) was Lord Mayor of Münster from 1898 to 1916 and as such also a member of the Prussian manor house .
Act
As a result of his efforts, in 1901 the city administration was subdivided into several departments with offices and offices in order to bundle tasks and organize them better. The "Department A" (also "Central Office" ) was that of the Lord Mayor.
He also took care of the expansion of the university and industry as well as the improvement of the infrastructure.
Two years after his death, Jungeblodtplatz was named after him .
