Max Junker

Max Junker (* 1885 ; † 1959 ) was a German lawyer.

Career

Junker joined the judiciary in 1911 as a judicial assessor at the public prosecutor's offices in the Berlin I, II and III regional courts . In 1914 he became public prosecutor in Altona, in 1930 first public prosecutor, in 1931 regional court director and in 1932 chief public prosecutor at the regional court in Münster . After the National Socialists came to power , Junker, who was politically organized in the Catholic center, was demoted to the position of district court director. From 1945 to 1952 he was Attorney General at the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court . In addition, from 1948 he was the representative of the State Commissioner for Combating Corruption and Mismanagement. At the end of 1952 he was awarded the Great Federal Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
