Max Kalcher

Max Kalcher (born July 22, 1911 in Sankt Lorenzen im Mürz Valley , † after 1939) was an Austro-German politician ( NSDAP ).

Life

After attending elementary and community school, Kalcher worked as a waiter , taproom, wage clerk and unskilled worker. In addition, he was taught at the trade school.

On July 20, 1934 Kalcher was arrested for illegal activity for the NSDAP, which was banned in Austria, and sentenced to death by hanging on September 21, 1934 for violating the Explosives Act. After accepting the complaint, he was sentenced to death again on January 24, 1935 by a jury in Leoben. On March 12, 1935, his sentence was reduced to twenty years in heavy prison. On February 18, 1938, Kalcher was finally released from prison with a three-year suspended sentence.

The Sturmabteilung (SA) was a member of Kalcher as a simple SA storm man.

In May 1938 Kalcher became a member of the National Socialist Reichstag , in which he represented Austria until his early departure on January 18, 1939.
