Max Krayer
Eduard Max Krayer (born October 4, 1875 in Basel ; † August 19, 1944 there ) was a Swiss entrepreneur .
Life
Eduard Max Krayer attended grammar school in Basel and then trained as a businessman. In 1903 he joined the Haas'sche Schriftgiesserei and in 1904 took over the management of the company. Krayer dealt with the history of die cutting art in Basel and Switzerland. It is thanks to him that historical writings such as the Bodoni have been rediscovered .
