Isabel Koellreuter

Isabel Koellreuter (born February 10, 1974 in Locarno ) is a Swiss historian and politician ( SP ).

Life

Isabel Koellreuter, daughter of the economist Christoph Koellreuter and niece of the politician Andreas Koellreuter, studied history , art history and economics at the Universities of Basel and Salamanca . After her licentiate in 2001 she worked as a research assistant at the University of Lucerne - Social Work , for various museums and publication projects. In 2010 she founded the agency “Schürch & Koellreuter, Kulturwissenschaft und Geschichte” together with the cultural scientist Franziska Schürch.

Her research focus is on regional and nutritional history.

Since 2011 she has been teaching at the University of Applied Sciences in Chur.

Isabel Koellreuter is also politically active. From January 11, 2006, when she replaced Hans-Peter Wessels , to March 31, 2008, when she resigned, she sat as the SP representative in the Grand Council of the Canton of Basel-Stadt .
