Max Landois

Max Landois (born March 22, 1873 in Greifswald , † 1935 in Leipzig ) was a German judge .

Life

Max Landois was the son of the physiologist Leonard Landois , his brother was the physician Felix Landois . He studied law in Tübingen and became a member of Corps Suevia Tübingen in 1891 . In 1900 he was a court assessor in Eltville and Camberg . In 1904 he was appointed magistrate in Freiburg aE . In 1908 he was promoted to regional judge in Görlitz and in 1913 to senior judge in Marienwerder. In 1921 he was a member of the liquidation office for family estates in Marienwerder. A year later he was appointed assistant judge at the Reich Court, in 1923 Reich Judge. In the German Association of Judges, he was part of the editorial team of the “ German Judges' Newspaper ”. He was an employee of the Legal Rundschau . Landois was a co-commentator in “ Planck's Commentary on the Civil Code”.
