Max Levy-Dorn
Max Levy-Dorn (born August 1, 1863 in Berlin , † June 20, 1929 in Berlin) was a researcher and pioneer as well as a victim of radiology .
Life
He worked for decades as the head of the X-ray department at the Rudolf Virchow Hospital in Berlin and initially suffered mutilation of his hands from radiation damage during his work , as the risks of X-rays were still unknown. He later died of cancer.
