Max Niedermaier
Max Niedermaier Sr. (Born August 19, 1951 in Unterach ) is a German ice speedway driver and ice speedway team world champion from 1983.
Career
Niedermaier began his career in the 1970s and was a regular ice speedway World Cup finalist in the individual and team world championships between 1979 and 1986. His greatest success, however, was winning the Ice Speedway Team World Championship in 1983 in the Horst Dohm ice stadium in Berlin-Wilmersdorf together with Helmut Weber and Gunther Brandt .

His son Max Niedermaier jun. (* March 23, 1988) has successfully followed in his footsteps since 2006 and has already participated in the Ice Speedway Team World Championships and the Ice Speedway World Championship Grand Prix several times.
