Unterach is part of the municipality of Rehling in the Swabian district of Aichach-Friedberg . The church village is about one and a half kilometers east of Rehling.
history
The place was first mentioned in 1447 when Konrad von Gumppenberg bought the mill in Oberach . Heinrich von Gumppenberg had acquired the lower mill from Eberhard dem Mühlrieder in 1334. In 1752 the Hofmark was responsible for the fiefdoms of the Untermühle and two Sölden .
The old mill was demolished in 1908 and the pumping station for the water supply was built in its place.
