Max Obier
Max Obier (born October 25, 1859 in Berlin ; † in the 20th century) was a printer and politician ( SPD ).
Life
Obier, who was a Protestant denomination, was a lithographer and pantograph in Detmold from March 1898 to October 1901 . From 1900 to 1901 he was chairman of the trade union cartel in Detmold and from October 1901 in Karlsruhe .
He was a member of the Lippe state parliament from 1900 to 1901. He was elected in the regional election in Lippe in 1900 in the runoff election on December 27, 1900 in the first constituency of the third class with 673 out of 1,072 votes. He thus prevailed against master blacksmith Wißmann, who in the first ballot on December 12, 1900, was second behind Obier (29.2%) with 20.1% of the votes.
